Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve learners’ knowledge, competence, and performance in applying practice-changing clinical data and expert recommendations to integrate the use of currently available therapies for their patients with hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. 

Target Audience
The intended audience for this educational initiative is community oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Incorporate risk stratification approaches to treat patients with early-stage prostate cancer that have demonstrated biochemical recurrence
  • Plan personalized therapeutic strategies for patients with mHSPC, considering all available agents, optimal agent sequence, available clinical data, expert recommendations, and patient goals and preferences
  • Counsel patients and their caregivers on the rationale and available options for hormone-sensitive prostate cancer, considering differences in administration, safety profiles, efficacy, and individual patient comorbidities and goals
  • Evaluate strategies to promote health equity in the care of patients with prostate cancer, including access to care, treatment, and clinical outcomes
