Target Audience

This activity is intended for all clinicians who are authorized to dispense controlled substances by the state in which they practice.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to increase the knowledge, competence, and performance of healthcare providers in safe and effective management of patients who use cannabis.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review epidemiology of cannabis use

  • Describe different emerging forms of cannabis in use

  • Discuss treatment for cannabis use disorders
