Case Description

A 47-year-old woman with 5-pack-year smoking history (quit 20 years ago) presents with cough and was found to have metastatic lung adenocarcinoma. EGFR, ALK, ROS1, BRAF, KRAS, METex14 skipping, ERBB2 (HER2) mutation, and NTRK1/2/3 fusion were all negative, and PD-L1 was <1%. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) panel shows KIF5B::RET fusion.
