The goal of this activity is to integrate the latest scientific data and developments in antivirals and laboratory monitoring into optimized CMV management approaches in SOT recipients. 

Target Audience
This program is intended for infectious diseases physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients at risk for CMV following solid organ transplantation. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply evidence-based monitoring strategies to CMV management approaches in SOT recipients
  • Integrate emerging antiviral strategies for CMV prevention into optimized management plans for SOT recipients
  • Individualize CMV prevention strategies for SOT recipients in complex clinical scenarios including late CMV infections and secondary prophylaxis
