Conclusion
At her next 3-month follow-up, the patient has lost an additional 5 lb (current weight 165 lb, 15% total body weight lost), and her BMI has decreased further to 28.3 kg/m2. Her fasting blood glucose average and A1C remain unchanged and well controlled. All other labs are within normal limits. She denies symptoms of hypoglycemia and states that she remains very pleased with her progress.
